Donald A. "Petey" Strelow, age 67 of the Town of Pella, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home. Born on August 21, 1945 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Clyde and Mildred (Lechterman) Strelow, Sr. Donald lived all of his life in the Town of Pella where he worked as a carpenter. In his younger years he served with the U.S. National Guard. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leopolis. Donald is survived by: his twin sister, Donna Richter of Shawano; 4 brothers, Floyd Strelow of Hardy, VA, Clyde (Patricia) Strehlow of Pella, Gerald (Betty) Strelow of Shawano, and Thomas (Peggi) Strelow of Clintonville; and several nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Robert; and a brother-in-law, Gordon Richter. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Deacon Howard Bricco officiating.
