Obituary

Donald R. "Auggie" Bellanger aka Sawan, age 52, of Keshena, started his journey on Friday, January 6, 2017 in Fargo, North Dakota. Donald was born in Chicago on June 2, 1964, to the late Harvey E. and Janice M. (Corn) Bellanger. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and "twirling". More than anything, Donald loved spending time with family.

Donald is survived by his brothers and sisters, Mary-O Isham of Neopit, Marla (Sundance) Bellanger of Keshena, Elizabeth (Bob) Williams of Lac du Flambeau, Vanessa Chevalier of AZ, Richard (Sue Kitten) Isham of Shawano, Roger (Sherry) Isham of Keshena, James Bellanger of Cass Lake, Jody Bellanger of Cass Lake, Joe Bellanger of Cass Lake, Lana Bellanger of Cass Lake, Ed Whitefeather of Red Lake, Ruth Bellanger of Cass Lake, Frank Raisch of Cass Lake and Carol Blue of Cass Lake; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece and nephew who he helped raised, Cheyenne (Toudie) Bellanger and Trevon Danforth; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, his twin, Ronald Bellanger, Harvey "Porky" Bellanger, Jr., Les Headbird and Jake Blue, Sr.; and two sisters, Carol Whitefeather and Karen Raisch.

Traditional services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Marla Bellanger residence, N1134 Sunrise Road in Keshena with Mr. Bob Williams officiating. Visitation will be held at the residence starting after 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2017 and continue until the time of the services.
