Donald Berglin, age 89, of Shawano, formerly of Green Bay and Winchester, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023.  Don was born in Green Bay on August 10, 1933, son of the late Melvin and Gertrude (Timmers) Berglin.  On June 13, 1959, Don was united in marriage to Carole Hanop.  The couple spent 63 wonderful years of marriage together.  They lived in Green Bay for many years where Don worked as a baker at Mrs. Karl's while also farming at home.  He was a hardworking, reserved man and was a wonderful husband to Carole and father to his two daughters, Fay and Cheryl.  After retiring Don and Carole moved to Winchester where Don enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Don is survived by his wife, Carole and his daughters, Fay Wilson and Cheryl (Randy) Everard.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Rosemary Geyer, Grace Meetz, and Pat Berglin.

A memorial service honoring Don will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano at noon on Friday, March 31, 2023, with Pastor Debbie Pagels officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:30am until the time of the service.
