Donald L. Christel, age 72, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Shawano. Donald was born on April 23, 1943 to the late Leo and Florence (Justman) Christel. He graduated from Manitowoc High School and then enlisted in the United States Army in 1961. After his discharge in 1964, Don owned and operated his own sewing shop. Don also loved flowers, especially orchids. Donald is survived by his sister Diane and nephew Billy. He was preceded in death his parents and two brothers, Gary and Michael. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery Stony Hill.
