Donald L. "Donnie" Wudtke, Jr., age 65 of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Shawano. Donald was born on August 6, 1955 to Eva (Jones) and the late Donald Wudtke, Sr. He lived in Milwaukee until elementary school and had lived in the Shawano area the rest of his life. Donnie graduated from Bonduel High School in 1973. He went on to receive training as a master plumber. Donnie worked for Wudtke & Wudtke Septic. During the off-peak plumbing season he worked for Aarowcast and Pony Creek Nursery. On June 23, 1978, Donnie was united in marriage to Jeanne Kay Grosskopf in Shawano. Upon retirement Donnie worked as a senior aid at the Shawano Civic Center. As a young adult he enjoyed bowling, pool, and softball. He later on went to coach youth baseball and enjoyed listening to polka music. Donnie was a fan of the Cecil Mudhens and was a huge college basketball fan but most importantly loved watching the Marquette Golden Eagles. Donnie and Jeanne enjoyed camping and spending time at their cabin in Bowler.

Donald is survived by his mother, Eva; his loving wife of 42 years, Jeanne; sons, Nicolas (significant other, Angela Klapps) Wudtke and Matthew (Alyssa) Wudtke; grandsons, Maiden, Christopher and Liam; and brothers, Rick (Dawn) Wudtke and Scott (Amy) Wudtke. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father; grandson, Lifeson; and brothers, Randy and Jerry Wudtke.

A funeral service for Donald will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Valentyn officiating. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday at church from 9:00 am until the time of service.
