Donald C. "Don" Kuhn, age 79 of Shawano, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Appleton. Born on January 17, 1934 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Jeske) Kuhn. On November 1, 1958 he was united in marriage to Patricia A. Ziemer in Red River. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2003. Donald worked at Phoenix Door Manufacturing and was a member of the St. Martin's Lutheran Church in the Town of Belle Plaine. He was very handy and a talented cabinet maker. When not working, Don enjoyed shopping, going out to eat with his family, and traveling. Don is survived by: his son, Rick (Christina) Kuhn of CA; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Diann (Clarence) Schroeder of Clintonville, Gerald "Jerry" Kuhn of Shawano and Carol (Lyle) Krause of Shawano. Don was preceded in death by: his wife, Patricia; his son, Loren; and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in the Town of Belle Plaine with the Rev. Kurt Kluge officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Shawano American Legion Post #117 at the church following the service. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
