Donna Seefeldt, age 82, of Bonduel, passed away in Shawano on Sunday, February 28, 2021.  Donna was born in Bowler on October 19, 1938, daughter of William and Edna (Gumz) Messerschmidt.  Donna graduated from Bonduel High School and did clerical work at the Bonduel Clinic.  On February 28, 1960 she was united in marriage to Harold Thompson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel.  Harold preceded Donna in death in 1975.  On April 7, 1979 Donna was united in marriage to Kenneth Seefeldt at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel.  The couple moved to Chippewa Falls in 1980 where they owned and operated a motel.  Donna also worked at Mason Shoe Manufacturing while in Chippewa Falls.  Ken and Donna returned to the Shawano area in 1998 and Donna worked at Shawano Medical Center.  Ken and Donna enjoyed traveling together, taking vacations to Arizona, Florida, Alaska, Hawaii.  They enjoyed fishing in Canada and snorkeling in the Caribbean off the Island of Roatan, Honduras.  Donna enjoyed sports and was and avid fan of Bonduel's High School teams, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Green Bay Packers.  More than anything Donna loved her family and treasured every moment she spent with them.  She especially looked forward to the special after school visits from her great grandchildren.

Left to cherish Donna's memory are: her daughter, Tammy (Keith) Rosin of Bonduel;  step-children, Pam Seefeldt of Shawano, Alan (friend Cheryl) Seefeldt of Green Bay, Gary (Charlene) Seefeldt of Shawano, Larry Seefeldt of DePere, and John (Terry) Seefeldt of Neenah; four grandchildren, Jenilee (Andy Plantz) Hughes, Joshua (Lisa) Hughes, Katie Jo (Jordan) Greuel, and Mikal (Tess) Anshutz; great grandchildren, Tyler, Ava, Myles, Drew, Lila, Theodore, Brooklyn, Quinn, Aubryn, Lydia, and a baby girl Anschutz due in June; step-grandchildren,Samantha Seefeldt, Kyle Seefeldt, Dylan (Melissa) Seefeldt, Brianna Seefeldt, Tasha Seefeldt, Hanna Seefeldt, and Sam Seefeldt; as well as many step-great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her first husband Harold Thompson; second husband Kenneth Seefeldt; a daughter, Kathie Jo Thompson; her parents; three sisters, Florence Mavis, Ethel Svetnicka, and Evangeline Thiede; and one brother, Roger Messerschmidt.

A funeral service for Donna will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel at 11:00am on Friday March 5, 2021 with Rev. Mark Palmer officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.  Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
