Donna Jean Thunder, age 59, of Neopit, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Milwaukee.
Born on April 30, 1957, in Keshena, she is the daughter of Donald and Norma (Waubanascum) Boivin.
On August 23, 1996 in Zoar, Donna was united in marriage to Dewey Thunder, who preceded her in death on October 13, 2005.
She enjoyed watching wrestling, the Green Bay Packers, playing Bingo, spending time with her family and being a member of Big Drum Zoar.
Donna is survived by her children, Kyle (Damona) Thunder, Darwin (Onawa) Thunder, Sr. and Thomas (Tanya) Thunder; her siblings, Carol Boivin, Faye (Todd) James and Gerald (Billie Jo) Boivin, Sr.; her step-children, Kathy Waupoose, Helen Thunder, Lynn (Monty) Thunder, Robert Thunder, Anthony (Tracy) Waupoose and Daniel (Tanya) Thunder.
She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Gerald (Tashina) Boivin, Jr., Natasha (Darell) Boivin, Maryellen Boivin, Rainelle (Michael) Boivin, Karlena Boivin, Taylor James, Tai (Allen) James, Mary Jane James and Santee James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; her parents; four infant siblings; and two grandchildren, Darwin Thunder, Jr. and Brooklyn Couillard.
Traditional services will be held at the Zoar Ceremonial Building beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, followed by Big Drum at 1:30 p.m. and then procession to the Zoar Burial Grounds at 2:00 p.m.
Billy Daniels is officiating.
Visitation will be at the Zoar Ceremonial Building beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
