Donovan Charles Glocke, age 81 of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Shawano. Donovan was born on August 21, 1933 in Clintonville, the son of the late Charles J. and Dorothy A. (Delaney) Glocke. Donovan graduated from Clintonville High Scholl Class of 1952 and then attended Wisconsin State Teachers College and Marquette University. While in college, he worked at the Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee. After school, he became a teacher and then principal for the Milwaukee Public School District. Donovan lived in Whitefish Bay until his retirement in 1991 and then moved back to the area. He enjoyed his time spent growing up on Shawano Lake and being an outdoorsman, hunting and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Don is survived by his children, David (Lynn) Glocke of Downington, PA and Brian (Jody) Glocke of Grafton, 4 grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Nicholaus and Eric and 1 brother, Robert Glocke of Fairfield, IA. Donovan was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services are being held.
