Obituary

Doris Ann Collicott, age 88, of Keshena, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Shawano. Doris was born in Janesville on October 8, 1928, the daughter of the late Henry and Lillian (Scoville) Nitz.  On February 22, 1947, she was united in marriage to Vaughn W. Collicott at St. John's Lutheran Church in Janesville.  Doris and Vaughn lived on Legend Lake for 34 years and were very active in the Legend Lake Property Association.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved going to the casino.
Doris is survived by: her husband of 70 years, Vaughn; their daughter, Diana (Wayne) Scoville of Edgerton; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Collicott of Sturgeon Bay; one sister, Judie Frederick of Shawano; three grandchildren, Gidget (John) Peerenboom of Combined Locks, Dan (Sherry) Collicott of Adell and Brian (Jennifer) Collicott of Chippewa Falls; and seven great-grandchildren, Steven Scott, Emma Peerenboom, Lillian Peerenboom, Justin Collicott, Lexi Collicott, Isabelle Collicott and Elynn Collicott.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terry in 2010 and her parents.
A funeral service for Doris will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Mr. Richard Menning officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
