Dorla J. Boivin, age 80 of Neopit, began her spirit journey on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Dorla was born on December 19, 1939, to the late Ernest and Louise (Waupoose) Wayka in Keshena. On November 8, 1959, Dorla was united in marriage to John L. Boivin, Sr. in Neopit. John preceded her in death on June 9, 2008. Dorla was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She lived in Neopit most of her life. She worked for Wausau Nursing Home. Dorla enjoyed cooking, baking bread, playing bingo and 2 card, watching her gameshows, wrestling and the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed riding in the woods, going fishing, and going to the lake lot. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Dorla will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dorla is survived by her children, Anna Boivin of Green Bay, John (Deanna) Boivin, Jr. of Neopit, William Boivin of Neopit, Raphael (Lucy) Boivin of Keshena, Dale (Nancy) Boivin of Bowler, Curtis Boivin of Neopit, and Wendell Boivin of Neopit; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Caroline Caldwell of Neopit, Deneame (Miles) Tourtillott of Keshena, Daniel "Boone" Wayka of Neopit, Richard Wayka, Sr. of Keshena, and Janel Wayka of Keshena.  She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Boivin, Sr.; three sons, Anthony "Buck", Kevin L., and John III; her parents, Ernest and Louise Wayka; and her siblings, Marvin Wayka, Sr., Curtis Wayka, Sr., John Wayka, Myron Wayka, Sr., Ronald Wayka, Debra Wayka, Karen Wayka-Sackatook, Daryl Wayka, Sr., and Ernest Wayka, Jr.

A funeral service for Dorla will be held at 11:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery in spring of 2021. Visitation will be held at the Boivin Residence, W6505 Wild Rice Court in Neopit, beginning at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2020 until the time of procession to the church on Tuesday.
