Dorothy Lautenschlager, age 82, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Appleton. Born on July 14, 1936 in Wakefield, MI, she was the only daughter of the late Steve and Sophie (Yatchak) Kaveshan.  On May 12, 1956, Dorothy was united in marriage to Nicholas DiSanto, who preceded her in death in 2001.  Dorothy was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Lautenschlager on April 4, 2005 in Arkansas.  She enjoyed going to the casino, putting jigsaw puzzles together and working on crossword puzzles.  Dorothy also loved sewing, gardening and baking.

Dorothy is survived by: her husband, Jerry; her four daughters, Mary (Terry) LaCanne of Clintonville, Lori (Ed) Wiseman of Virginia Beach, Barb (fiancé, John Trickle) DiSanto of Shawano and Lisa (fiancé, Mike Sortino) Klier of Pulaski; three grandchildren, Brian Olson, Tarrah Wiseman and Becky Wiseman; step-children, Jeff (Beth) and Jody; two brothers, James (Sandi) Kaveshan and Donald (Linda) Kaveshan; as well as nieces, nephews, friends and her dog, Tinker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nicholas DiSanto; her parents; one brother, Dennis; and her step-daughter, Wendy.

Private family services will be held.
