Obituary

Douglas Allen Fritz, age 67, of Bonduel, died on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Neenah. Born on November 27, 1949 in Shawano, he is the son of the late Dewey and Irene (Buettner) Fritz. Doug worked for the Town of Wescott for many years, volunteered for the Wescott Fire Department and worked as a first responder. He ended his career working for Homan Trucking of Bonduel. He enjoyed snowmobiling, ice fishing and spending time with his nephews.

Douglas is survived by: his sister, Jolene (Steve) Capelle of Bonduel; two nephews, Nicholas (Jennifer) and Lucas (Stephanie Calaway) Capelle; one great niece, Kensleigh Capelle; and close family friend, Jack Schneider.

He was preceded in death his parents and one sister, Jean Fritz.

A celebration of Doug's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Gehm's Club 117 in Bonduel. Bring in a picture of Doug or tell your favorite story about him and help us celebrate his memory.
