Dylan Kroening, age 22, of Shawano, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Dylan was born on October 11, 1994 in Shawano, son of Jeff Kroening and Sandra (Weisnicht) Washkuhn. Dylan graduated from Bonduel High School in 2012 and attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and NWTC. Dylan enjoyed many things, including, hunting, fishing, video games, and his brother Sam's music. He was always interested in technology and built his own computer. He was also an accomplished cook, known for his lasagna and his Sunday morning pancakes. Dylan loved nothing more than spending time with his family.

Dylan leaves behind: his mother and step-father, Sandra and Jason Washkuhn; his father and step-mother, Jeff and Kristen Kroening; brothers, Sam (Lindsay) Kroening and Dawson Krueger; his sister, Alyssa Krueger; step-siblings, Jodie and Lexi Washkuhn and Jonny and Tara Clark; grandparents, Bruce and Connie Kunze, Jim Kroening, and Jerry and Barb Weisnicht; a niece Lainey Kroening; uncles and aunts, Ken Weisnicht, Brett (Ondrea) Weisnicht, Keith (Kristi) Kunze, Natineal Kunze, Kadu Kunze, Jimmy Kroening, Dean Kroening, Chuck Kroening, Kevin Kroening, and Laurie Kunze; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Judy Kroening.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Memorials may be directed to Dylan's family. A "Go Fund Me" account has been set up by Dylan's grandfather, Bruce Kunze.
