Earl Duane “Schooch” Madosh, Sr., age 66, of Neopit passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Appleton always living his life to the fullest. Schooch was born on November 1, 1959, in Keshena. He loved softball and he was a pitcher for Marie’s Bombers and Audrey’s Chargers softball teams. He worked at the MTE Mill as a knife sharpener from the age of 17 up until his tragic car accident on November 17, 1998, which left him paralyzed from the chest down. On September 12, 1981, he was united in marriage to Rebecca “Becky” Reiter in Neopit. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed and always remembered. See ya at the pearly gates when we get there.

Schooch is survived by his wife of 45 years, Becky Madosh; children, AnnMarie “Cooters” (Bill) Madosh and Earl Duane “Baby Schooch” (Brittany) Madosh, Jr.; others that stayed throughout the years, Melissa Reiter, Tasha Madosh, Charlene Hawpetoss, Aletha Mcpherson, Richard “Baby Rich” Wayka, Jr.; grandchildren, Julian, Pita, Kira, Ruby, Kodiak, Rylee, Laura, Shanae (Marlin), Xander, RJ (Jera) and Elias; siblings, Cecilia “Esaw” Madosh, Darwin “Skullhead” (Karen) Madosh, Melody (Joe) Summers, Carol (Wayne) Madosh, Tiana “Pino” Wayka, Wendell “CM” Martin and Delores “Puntie”; step father Windy Martin; in laws, Rosemond “Sac” Reiter, Julie and Jr., Waupoose, Frankie and Deb Reiter, Daryl and Burnell Reiter; and his baby Pepper Ann Madosh who always looked after him. He is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Schooch was welcomed to the happy hunting grounds by his loving mother, Laura “Anne” Martin; mother-in-law, Ruby Reiter; grandparents Clifford and Ella, his siblings, Harriet, Clifford, Jr., Marilyn, Randal, Calvin, Theresea, Sharon, Milton, Jerrilyn, Kendall, Darrell and Wilfred; and best friends, John “Lunchie” Boivin and Daniel “Boonie” Wayka.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Madosh Residence N3338 St. Hwy 47 Neopit, WI 54150 starting at 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
