Obituary

Edith Lynn LeRoy, age 80, of Keshena passed away on Thursday December 18, 2025, in Neenah. Edith was born on April 11, 1945, in Milwaukee to the late Howard and Marjorie (Mendenall) Kruger. After high school, she went on to nursing school; earning her degree in CNA. Edith loved caring for people for over 30 years. When she met her husband Merlin LeRoy, together they became a team and best friends. Together in their younger years they loved to hunt and go on the road together truck driving. Edith had a knack for crocheting and made many hats for newborns in hospitals. In her free time, she also enjoyed sewing, beadwork, gardening and reading. Edith naturally could pick up any project and solve any problem. She was an over 10-year cancer survivor that never lost her sense of humor. Edith was a dedicated mother who raised five children. Through thick and thin, she was a fair mother and made sure she set her child up for a successful adult in life. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Edith is survived by her husband of 57 amazing years, Merlin; children, Jeffrey LeRoy, Sheila (significant other, Dave) LeRoy, Rudy (Marsha) LeRoy, Cody LeRoy and Shanne LeRoy; and grandchildren, Zach, Alicia, J.J., Autum, Ava, Audrey, Raeann, Allure, Arrowin, Julius, Alexandria, Kaine and Yesenya; her great-grandchildren, Hazel, Pope, Nakai, Mackenzie, and two other great-granddaughters. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Edith is preceded in death by her sisters, Suzie and Gloria; and parents, Howard and Marjorie.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
