Edith Josephine (nee Baker) Weix, age 97 of Bonduel, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in Bonduel. Born on August 1, 1916 in Salem, WI near Maiden Rock, she was the daughter of the late Frank and May (Roeteh) Baker. On August 21, 1939 she was united in marriage to Frank S. Weix in Elmwood. The couple lived in Durand, Bear Creek and Almond before making their final moved to Bonduel. Edith enjoyed being a housewife and mother to her beloved children. In her free time she enjoyed antiquing and viewing artwork. Edith's family and friends were blessed to have her with them for as long as they did and she will be truly missed by them all. Edith is survived by: 4 daughters, Judy Weix of Bonduel, Boni Vedder of Neenah, Toni Stamborski of Muskego, Dori Coetzee of Huntington Beach, CA; a son, Frank M. Weix of Bonduel; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank on July 16, 2001; a daughter-in-law, Mary Weix; her parents; a sister; and 4 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cecil with the Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the church in Cecil on Thursday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
