Edna M. Kelley, age 99, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Green Bay. She was born on August 30, 1922 to the late Clarence and Leona (Martin) Stewart in Ashland. Edna graduated from Flandreau High School and Haskell Indian Nation University Lawrence, Kansas. While in Chicago, she worked as a beautician and secretary for the Bureau of Indian Affairs until moving to the Shawano area. Edna was united in marriage to Ervin Kelley in Chicago. He preceded her in death. She loved to crochet, sew, travel and write. Most of all, Edna loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was survived by: her daughters, Pamela Ramey, Kathy Stitman and Maureen (Gary) Gast; 10 grandchildren, Michael Abbott, Tricia Abbott, Lee Stitman, Jillian Stitman, Patrick Stitman, Jeff Beson, Gina Beson, Marcie Brown, Melissa Byers and Gary Gast, Jr.; and 16 great-grandchildren, Timothy Abbott, Ashlee Stitman, Kyah Stitman, Teilan Williams, Taleyea Williams. Charlessa Howard, Alexia Brown, Kailee Brown, Eden Brennan, Elyzah Byers, Gracie Byers, Logan Gast, Ariah Beson, Videl Beson, Apollo Beson and Richard Chevalier, Jr.; and special niece, Carrie Wiese.

Edna was preceded in death by: her husband; children, Randy Kelley, and Denise Beson; parents; and siblings, Robert Stewart, Wallace Stewart and Myrt Wiese.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on July 20, 2022 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
