Obituary

Edward John Gardner, age 75, of Bowler, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home. Edward was born on November 18, 1941 in the Town of Red Springs, he is the son of the late Winfred and Jessie May (Davids) Gardner.  On August 2nd 1969, Edward was united in marriage to Jeannette Johnson in Sturgeon Bay.  He worked as a welder for many years.  In his free time, Edward enjoyed watching stock car racing and going to the casino.  He loved spending time with his dog, Buddy and having fun with family and friends.
Edward is survived by: his wife, Jeannette; children, Shelly (Travis) House of Forestville, Scott Gardner of Bowler, Gina Gardner of Florida Keys and Jennifer (Kevin) Conrad of Virgina; step-daughter, Merrilee (Mike) McIntee of De Pere; grandchildren, Cassie (Jesse), Jordan (Dan), Patience, Caleb, Madeline, Emma, Mikey, Chad, Trent, Jonah, Reed and Levi; great-grandchildren, ShaeLee, Asher, Isis, Finley, Enzo and one on the way.  He is further survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham.
