Edward "Ed" Kodai, age 79 of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Ed was born on April 15, 1941 to the late Edward J.  and Gertrude (Grotkiewicz) Kodai. He graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee. Ed enlisted in the United States Navy and served until his honorable discharge. On September 13, 1997, Ed was united in marriage to Laurel (Shoemaker) Garrison in Franklin.

Ed is survived by his wife of 23 years, Laurel; children, Edward Kodai and Victoria Kodai; stepson, Brent Garrison; grandchildren; and one sister Judith Stefanski.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
