Edward Thomas Post, age 65, passed away Wednesday July 30, 2025, in Keshena. He was born on July 7, 1960, in Chicago to the late Edward and Mary Jane (Bunte) Post. On July 27, 1999, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Chevalier in Chicago. Edward has lived in Keshena for the past 30 years. He was a hard worker. He worked for many years for the Menominee Tribe and the casino. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and tinkering around the house. Edward was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and uncle. He will be dearly missed.

Edward is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Patricia (Brett) Post and Cecelia Post; grandson, Poe Chevalier; sisters-in-law, Patricia Kinney Mendoza and Beatrice Chevalier; and brothers-in-law, John (Francine) Chevalier and Randy Chevalier. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, a sister, brother-in-law, Gordon (Joan) Chevalier; and mother-in-law, Mae Kinney-Chevalier.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00am - 2:00pm on Monday August 4, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
