Elda Marie Vele, age 87 of Bowler, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Wausau. She was born on April 29, 1932 to the late Herbert Stick and Ella (Gardner) Stick Besaw in Redsprings. Elda lived in the Milwaukee area for many years and in 1988 she returned to Bowler. She loved spending her time with her grandchildren, gardening and completing crossword puzzles.

Elda is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Vele and Cheryl Vele of Bowler; her sons, Adrian (Jeannie) Vele of Bowler, Dennis Vele of Redgranite, Jeff (Rebecca) Vele of Bowler, and Scott (Rebecca) Vele of Redsprings; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Reimer of Bowler and Bette Besaw of Bowler; as well as many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Herbert and Ella; three sons, Curtis, Gerald, and Randall Vele; grandchildren, Erica, John Coon, Forest, and Randall, Jr.; siblings, Howard, Owen, Gordon, Harvey, Syral, Lena, Leo, Dave, and Jack.

Gathering of family will be held at her residence, W13082 River Road, Bowler, until the time of burial. Burial will be held in Gresham Public Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Our dear mother is as beautiful as the World you see around you, the stones, flowers, children - Our Mother is as pretty as the morning you wake too. She is our Grandmother, Auntie and Sister we are with you today, yesterday and forever in our hearts! We love you Mom!
