Elizabeth A. Donovan, age 97 of Milwaukee, formerly of the Town of Wescott in Shawano County, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.  Born on July 5, 1921 in West Allis, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Kellner) Maurer.  On July 5, 1947 Elizabeth was united in marriage to the late Cornelius 'Neil' Donovan, who preceded her death on March 8, 1991, as well as her son, Patrick Donovan on February 15, 2007.

She is survived by her children Mary Kay (James) Donovan Haber of Eau Claire and Maureen (Jeffrey) Jasniewski of Greenfield; her grandchildren Greta Haber, Miguel Jasniewski, Paul (Alicia) Jasniewski and Erin Donovan; her great-grandchildren Cathleen Haber and Max Jasniewski, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Betty enjoyed reading, baking, knitting, and spending time with her family…especially her grandchildren.  And let's not forget how much she loved to drop the 'F' bomb while playing cards.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel, 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI, 53132.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  A spring burial will be held in Lake Drive Cemetery in Shawano, Wisconsin.
