Ella M. Bruette, age 65, of Shawano, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Shawano, WI.  Ella was born on January 4, 1959 daughter of the late Karen B. Peters. She attended school in Keshena and was married to George Bruette in South Branch who proceeded her in death.

She enjoyed working at local Nursing Homes as a Certified Nursing Aid and also worked at the Menominee Casino. Ella loved playing bingo, bead work, cheering for the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her family.

Ella is survived by: her children Garnet (Christopher) Peters; grandchildren, Michael, Carol, Christopher, Shillelah, R.J, Ella, Shirley; great-grandchildren Aiden and Alani and her dog Munchkin.

She is further survived by Debra McPherson and Raymond "Son" Sanapaw who she grew up with like brother and sister, Great Aunt Shirley "Donnie" Peters, nephew Pierre Peters and many loving friends.

Ella was preceded in death by her mother, husband; sister Carol Peters; child Karen Peters, son Robert Dominic Kakwitch,; nephew Frank Long and great-grandson Annawon Robert Peters.

A funeral service will be Wednesday November 13, 2024, at the South Branch Community Building at 1pm with visitation beginning at 2pm Monday November 11, 2024 until time of the service.
