Obituary

Ellyn Jane Buckbee, age 65, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Ellyn was born in Paducah, KY on July 26, 1952, the daughter of the late Charles "Bud" and Winnfred (Polzar) Buckbee.  Ellyn loved the Girl Scouts and was a troop leader for the Fox River Council.  Ellyn enjoyed being outdoors in nature and loved animals, especially horses.  She enjoyed horseback riding and attended numerous local trail rides.  Ellyn also enjoyed country line dancing.
Ellyn is survived by: two daughters, Heather (Doug) Van Remortel of Green Bay and Sara (Joseph) Rudesill, Jr of Rhinelander; two grandchildren, J.T. and Cordelia; her brother, Chuck Buckbee; her nephew, Shane (Leslie) Buckbee; great-niece, Miley Buckbee; and great-nephew, Braxton Buckbee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, special aunt, Charlotte and sister-in-law, Peggy.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
