Obituary
Elmer E. Richter, age 81, of Bonduel, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Shawano. Elmer was born on October 10, 1934 in the Town of Lessor, the son of the late Elmer H. and Selma (Popp) Richter. He was united in marriage to Ruth Westerfield on October 17, 1953 at St John Lutheran Church in Pulcifer. Elmer lived in the Bonduel area all his life. In his early years, he worked as a logger for his brother, before working at Fort Howard Paper Mill in Green Bay until his retirement. Elmer was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel, enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dogs.
Elmer is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth; three children, Daniel (Melody) Richter of Wisconsin Dells, Keith (Peggy) Richter of Shawano, and Pam (Greg) Rank of Cecil; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as one sister, Carol (Bob) Woldt of Bonduel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Earl and John.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Mark Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.Services
