Obituary
Elsa Anna Schick, age 101, passed away peacefully at Meadow View Care in Bonduel, WI on January 12, 2018, six days short of the 102nd birthday.
She was born in New Holstein, WI in 1916 to the late August and Hulda Wolfram. She married the late Francis J. Schick in 1939 in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Cecil, WI in 1947 where they owned the IGA grocery store and Cecil Beauty Salon for 20 years until they retired in 1967 and bought a home on Shawano Lake. Elsa was a beautician for over 33 years. She also belonged to the American Legion Woman's Auxiliary for over 60 years.
Elsa is survived by three sons: Dennis (Roxanne) Schick, of Pagosa Springs, CO, Wayne (Cheri) Schick, of Green Bay, WI and Glenn Schick, of Lulu Lake, WI. She is further survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis, parents, two brothers, Walter and Arthur, and two sisters Martha and Helen.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cecil, with Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. on Saturday until the time of the service.
