Elsie Elizabeth Beyer, age 68 of Oshkosh, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 in Oshkosh. Born on August 31st, 1944 in Keshena, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary A. (O`Connor) Pulda. She graduated from Hancock Central High School, MI in 1963. Elsie worked as a secretary and a waitress for several years. She enjoyed her crafts, playing bingo and scrabble, and putting together 10,000 piece puzzles. She was proud of her Menominee Indian Heritage and was a devout Catholic person. Elsie was married to the late Dennis L. Beyer, they had 3 children: her daughter, Lisa Beyer of Appleton; 2 sons, Bryan Beyer of Neenah, Michael (Lisha) Beyer of Whitewood SD; 5 grandchildren, Justin Herrmann, Erik Beyer, Jacob and Madison Beyer, Thomas James "T.J." Beyer; 2 brothers, William Pulda of Oshkosh, Gordon Pulda of Neenah; and 2 sisters, Mary (John) Litzenberger of MN and Janet (Gary) Becker of AZ. Elsie was preceded in death by: her parents; and 3 sisters; Shirley Ketchum, Marcella Martin and Terry Jury. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. David Barrett officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00pm until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Keshena.
