Obituary

Erma A. Fritz, age 88 of Tigerton, Wisconsin passed away February 3, 2012 at her home. It was her wish that she be able to stay in her home until she was taken to her final resting place. Erma was born September 01, 1923 in Caroline, to Albert and Selma (Frank) Mueller. On December 18, 1943 she was married to Lloyd "Bud" Fritz in Caroline. He preceded her in death June 14, 2005. Erma loved the peacefulness of her home. She enjoyed her flowers, loved watching and feeding the birds and deer. She even had names for some of them. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her kind and caring ways; especially for her home made buns and cinnamon rolls. Erma is survived by one son, Ned (Pat) of Shawano and one daughter, Fern (Wayne) of Stratford; four grandchildren, Rodney, Jeff (Wendy) Fritz of Shawano, Dorraine and Jon Fritz of Stratford; six great-grandchildren; Austin, Sam, Hatty, Jackie, Tori and Raelyn Fritz. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Nora Laatsch, Daryl Jueds and Beatrice Schultz. Erma left behind a poem that she gave to her family and they wish to share it; the last few lines of it are: "Scatter my ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow. If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all the prejudice against my fellow man. Give my sins to the devil; give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever. Private family services were held. The family wishes that you keep Erma in your thoughts and prayers. The family wishes to express a special "Thanks" to Dean and Kristi Watters, Anna and Katie who checked in on her regularly and was always available when she called. Thank you to a caring niece, Grace Jueds who called and visited often. Very special thanks go to the Hospice personnel, she was happy with each and every one of you. She looked forward to Peter Daniels, her food delivery who would also bring in her mail and fill the bird feeders.
