IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eugene "Ducky"
Luepke
March 20, 1946 – January 2, 2024
Eugene "Ducky" Lee Luepke, age 77, was called to his eternal home on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024. He figured it would give him a much better view to continue managing the Brewers from afar as he fell just short of getting the nod to replace Craig Counsell. His trade was crafted through many years in the Bonduel Broncos organization (player, manager, and fan). He also logged over 1.2 million accident-free miles driving tanker for Klemm. Ducky, as almost everyone knew him by, lived his entire life in the metropolitan Bonduel area and wed Kathleen in 1980. They were married for nearly 43 years prior to her passing in 2022. The two are now back together planning their next Carter trip, although it might be hard to press any buttons in spirit form.
Ducky is survived by his sons, Troy (Jeanne) Gueller and Randy Gueller, the infamous Gueller Boys, grandchildren, Hannah and Seth, sister, Janice (Duane), and nieces, Jodi and Conni.
Preceding Eugene, sorry I meant Ducky, in the next life were his parents Harold and Hilda, brother Bill, brother-in-law Duane and as mentioned earlier his wife Kate.
Words are not available to express how much Ducky truly cherished all his friends and family along with a good Polka song here and there. Every town needs a Ducky. You will be missed!
Please join us for a Celebration of Ducky's Life on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, at 5:30 pm at the Lumberyard in Bonduel.
