Eugene M. Rasmussen's Obituary
Eugene Morris Rasmussen, age 88, of Bonduel, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Shawano. Born on September 9, 1928 in Paris, WI, he is the son of the late Fredric and Elsie (Lentz) Rasmussen. On July 7, 1951, Eugene was united in marriage to Donna Walker in Bristol, WI. Eugene worked as a farmer for most of his life and enjoyed Polka festivals and camping. More than anything, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Eugene is survived by: his wife of 66 years, Donna; three children, Judy (Mike) St. Louis of Michigan, Steve (Laurie McCann) Rasmussen of Bonduel and Tom (Phyllis) Rasmussen of Plymouth; four grandchildren, Dawn (Zack), Justin (Tina), Tyler (Amy) and Walker; as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; siblings, Larry Rasmussen, Mary Burnett and Grace Kraus; and one grandson, Geoffrey.
Private family services were held.
