Obituary

Eva Rose Wilber, 79, formerly of Neopit, passed away on Saturday, April 27 th , 2019 in Shawano.

Eva was born in Kewaunee Co., WI, on March 22, 1940 to the late Ralph and Grace (Post) Haack. On April 4, 1959 she was united in marriage to Robert Wilber Jr. in Milwaukee. Eva was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was a cook for the Menominee School District for many years. She lived in the Neopit area for most of her life and she loved baking bread, spending time with her cats and dog, as well as bird watching.

Eva is survived by: her daughter, Lillian (Richard) Volkema of Shawano; her sons, John (Willie) Haack of Neopit, Mike (Wanda) Boivin of Green Bay, Doyle (Reecie) Wilber of Shawano, David Wilber, Franklin (Tonia) Wilber of Keshena, Virgil (Christie) Wilber of Green Bay, and Justin (Desirie) Wilber of Keshena; her siblings, James (Linda) Haack, Karen (Jack) Maxey, Anita (Warren) Kaquatosh, Fritz Haack, Jean Haack, Allen Haack, Ralph (Mary) Haack Jr., Donna Haack, Sue (Wendell) Haack, Linda (Allen) Thorton, Leslie (Mary) Schmidt, Larry Schmidt, Kevin Schmidt, and Lloyd Schmidt; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; numerous neighborhood children, along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; her parents; her children, Roberta Wilber, Amos Wilber, and Wyone Wilber; one brother and two sisters.

A funeral mass for Eva will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center, in the David Kiefer Room next to the church, from 4:00 pm on Monday, April 29 th until the time of the mass on Wednesday.

The family would like to thank The Cottages Memory Care on Golden Pond in Shawano, Wisconsin and Theda Care Hospice for the wonderful care given to mom.
