Evelyn Agnes Beversdorf, age 84 of Shawano, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011. Born on August 4, 1927 in Shawano, she is the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Sperberg) Buettner. On May 29, 1948 in Shawano, she was united in marriage to Hugo A. Beversdorf, who preceded her in death on April 25, 2000. Aggie lived in the Town of Richmond her entire life and was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. She enjoyed weaving rugs, knitting, crocheting, gardening and bird-watching. Aggie is survived by: 2 sons, John Beversdorf of Shawano, Richard (Linda) Beversdorf of Shawano; a daughter, Jane (James) Krueger of Shawano; 5 grandchildren, Penny (Jason) Kuhn, Jason and Justin Krueger, Johnna and Rachel Beversdorf; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Riley Kuhn; 3 brothers, Harold, Rudolph and Charles (Eileen) Buettner all of Shawano. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Hugo; her parents; 4 brothers; and 6 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Fred Zimmermann and Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and at church on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
