Florence Minnie Reinert, age 90 of Shawano, passed away Thursday, March 01, 2012 in Neenah. Born on June 13, 1921 in the Village of Mattoon in Shawano County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and LuLu (Matz) Koeppen. On June 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to Harold C. Reinert in Mattoon. Florence worked at Qualheims and Farm & Home in Shawano as well as drove school bus in Bowler and worked at Pony Creek Nursery. Florence loved sports and enjoyed watching them. She also enjoyed going fishing in her younger years. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda. Florence was a wonderful mother, beloved grandmother, loving great-grandmother and a great sister who will be sadly missed. Florence is survived by: her daughter, Judy (Allen) Kristof of Tilleda; a grandson, Michael (Kari) Kristof of Shawano; 3 great-grandchildren, Brett, Brady, Emma; a sister, LuLu Wege of Bowler; and 2 sisters-in-law, Patsy Reinert of Tilleda and Adele Gast. Florence was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold on November 3, 1987; her parents; triplet brothers, Ernest, Elmer and Irwin Koeppen; 4 sisters, Alvina Kowalke, Leone Fermanich, Roselia Larsen, Ella Lorenz; 3 brothers-in-law, Arnold Gast, Dale Reinert, Wilbert Reinert; and 2 sisters-in-law, Ardis Gast and June Reinert. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda with the Rev. Dennis Creswell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday after 9:30am until the time of the service.
