Florence D. Zeuske, age 89 of Shawano, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Birch Hill Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 6, 1924 in the Town of Grant, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Minnie (Pranke) Kriesel. On June 19, 1943 she was united in marriage to Clyde E. Zeuske in Tigerton. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1982. Florence was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Gresham from 1956 until her passing. She was also a member of the Zion Ladies Aid, Homemakers, a 4-H Leader, and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed gardening and traveling and especially being with her family. Florence was a truly wonderful mother and grandmother and was a cherished gift to her family. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by: 4 children, Diane (John) Bauman of Gresham, Douglas (Kathy) Zeuske of Clintonville, Debra (Bruce) Hoeft of Fremont, Daniel (Karen) Zeuske of Hartland; and her sister, Elaine Kurth of Wausau. She is further survived by: her grandchildren, Paul Bauman, Jennifer Bauman, Heidi Zeuske, Tom (Emily) Zeuske, Hayley Zeuske, Olivia Zeuske, Dustin Martzke, Dotty (Jon) Bauer, Benjamen Zeuske, Nicholas Zeuske, Joseph Zeuske; and great-grandchildren including, Kaitlyn McGuckian, Emma McGuckian, Harrison Sturycz, Lynneah Benes and Jaden Bauer. Florence was preceded in death by: her husband, Clyde; their son, Dwight; their daughter, Dawn; her parents; 2 sisters, Vera Steinke, Adeline Kriesel; and a brother, Marvin Kriesel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Gresham with the Rev. John C. Eyer officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Rest Cemetery in Gresham. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
