Frances Elaine Voight, aged 73, passed away on Saturday November 9, 2024, at her home in Shawano. Frances was born on November 18, 1950, in Superior, Wisconsin, daughter of the late William "Brightstar" and Dolly (Johnson) Liberty, Sr. Fran graduated from Superior High School and on March 21, 1970, she was united in marriage to Dean Voight, Jr., in Medford, Wisconsin. The couple spent a wonderful 41 years together before Dean's passing in 2011. Fran worked as a clerk in the Clerk of Courts office in the Shawano County Courthouse for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cribbage, bowling, taking trips to the casino to play the slots and visiting with her family and friends. Fran loved animals, especially her beloved pets, her dog, Bella and her cat, Jackson. If you knew Fran you knew she was the nicest, kindest, sweetest woman you would ever meet.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she will be dearly missed.

Fran is survived by: her children, Angela (Shane Koukari) Owen, Aaron (Crystal) Voight and Adam (Tabitha Reiter) Voight; grandchildren, Ashley Owen, Alexiss Koukari, Aaden Voight, Patience Moesch, Sapahtis Teller and Sosaeh Teller; two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Bentley; siblings, Billy Liberty, Jr., Linda (Al) Mettner, Sandra Liberty, Jeff (Linda) Liberty, Jordy (Gary) Paulas; sister-in-law, Vicki Johnson; and best friend, Linda Kallies. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Fran is preceded in death by her husband, Dean; a sister, Debra Scott; and her parents, William and Dolly.

A memorial service to honor Fran will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am until the time of the service.
