Obituary

Francis Arnold "Frankie" Jewell, age 88, passed away on Saturday November 15, 2025, in Shawano. Frankie was born on December 16, 1936, in Oconto Falls to the late Floyd and Johanna (Ehlinger) Jewell. He served his country proudly in the United States Army in Germany after the Korean Conflict. Frankie enjoyed traveling all over the United States; "went wherever the wind blew". He loved traveling south of the border to Mexico and riding Italian motorcycles all over. Frankie was always up for adventure and was content with making just enough to meet his needs and travel on to the next stop. He was a talented leather worker especially fringe work; he once dressed up his sister's priest in a black fringe jacket. Frankie loved sharing his stories of his travels with anyone who wanted to listen while sharing a good laugh. He was a wonderful brother, uncle and friend.
