Frank J. Kristof, age 68 of Marion, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Frank was born on February 10, 1952 to the late Allen and Jeanette (Ready) Kristof in Shawano. He graduated from Marion High School in 1970 and lived in Leopolis all of his life. On July 24, 1978, Frank was united in marriage to Bonnie Akstulewicz in Waukegan, Illinois. Frank was a construction worker all of his life working for Kucksdorf Construction, ABC Seamless, and most recently retiring from Quality Siding and Windows where he was known as "Vinyl Frank". He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Leopolis. Frank was a member of the Leopolis Booster Club for 35 years and the concession manager for the Leopolis Bulldogs. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, woodworking, collecting maple syrup, being in the woods, and ice fishing. Frank was a proud member of the Thinking and Drinking Table.

Frank is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie; children, Chad (Kristine) Akstulewicz, Tammy J. Kristof, Jason (Andrea) Kristof, Nicholaus Kristof, and Theresa (Jason) Carpenter; grandchildren, Cody, Winter, Abbi, Trenton, Collin, Teghan, Brayden, Bristol, and Taitum; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Meah, and Maddisyn; siblings, Jim (Faith) Kristof, Mike (Judy) Kristof, and Ruth (Ben) Michonski; sisters-in-law, Karen Kristof and Paula Akstulewicz; aunts, Carol Kristof and Rita Kristof; and special friends, Bob (Judy) Kroening and Jill Strebel. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John "Buck" Kristof and Patricia Kristof.

A celebration of life will be held for Frank on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Hopper's Bar in Pella.
