Frank J. Laurent, age 70, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Green Bay. Frank was born on March 11, 1956, in Green Bay to the late Archie and Bernice (Lemens) Laurent. He graduated from Preble High School in Green Bay. Frank worked as a master mechanic all of his life including at Don Goers then Buss Auto. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, playing civilization, watching the Green Bay Packers and having the occasional reds apple ale. Anyone could always have a good conversation with him. Frank took care of everyone and always helped others. Frank had a good heart. His family was his world, especially his grandchildren and never missed the opportunity to make many memories.

Frank is survived by his children, Rhea (Brett) Romberg, Brandon Laurent, Brock Belongia-Bayer, Nathan (Hannah) Monroe and Nicole Beyer; grandchildren, Caiden, Kaleb and Vivien Rose; and siblings, Joan (Ron) Delforge, David (Jean) Laurent, Paul (Margaret) Laurent, Amy (Mike) Pontow, Steve (Marsha) Laurent and James Laurent. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his siblings, Faye Laurent, Carolyn DeGroot and Theresa Spejcher; parents, Archie and Bernice Laurent; and former wife, Cynthia Monroe.
