Franklin D. Raner, Jr. age 50 of Keshena passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013. Born on January 22, 1963 in Elgin, IL, he is the son of the late Frank and Jacqueline (Skelnik) Raner Sr. Frank was united in marriage to Bernadine Lawe on March 2, 1997 in Las Vegas. Frank was very artistic and enjoyed drawing. He lived for his family and loved not only his children but all children. One of the ways he showed his love for his family and friends was cooking for them - his trophies were his electric pans and skillets. Being born in Illinois, Frank stayed true to his birthplace as loyal Bears and Cubs fan. Frank is survived by: his wife, Bernadine; his children, Kayla Raner of Milwaukee, Israel (girlfriend, Ashley Lardinois) Medina of Keshena, Alexander Medina of Germany; one grandchild on the way; sisters, Becky (Kelly) Doxtator of Lamira, Penny Abernathy of Kansas, Ruth (Wayne) Raner of Kansas; brothers, Tim (Brenda) Raner of Milwaukee, Nathan (Dolly) Raner of Minnesota, Matthew (Jonie) Raner of Antigo and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Elizabeth Jenek. A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Raner residence located at W2774 Chief Carron Rd. in Keshena. Visitation will be held at the Raner residence after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday until the time of the service.
