Obituary

Fred John Krema, Jr., age 88, of Shawano, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 in Shawano. Fred was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 4, 1927, the son of the late Fred J. and Agnes (Pschandl) Krema, Sr. He served our country in the United States Army and worked for the police department in Milwaukee for 36 years, serving as police captain for 22 years, before retiring in 1989. On April 28, 1956, Fred was united in marriage to Marlene Krecklow in Milwaukee. He is a proud member of the N.R.A., Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano and St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cecil. Fred enjoyed being outdoors and hunting.

Fred is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marlene of Shawano and his daughter Cinder Krema of Washington D.C.

Funeral services for Fred will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cecil with Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepard Mausoleum in Green Bay. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Friday.
