Fred Harry Lang, age 79, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Fred was born on March 28, 1940, in Shawano to the late Freddie H. and Olive M. (Felts) Lang. He graduated from the Shawano High School Class of 1958. During his career he taught music lessons, was in retail sales, and public relations. Fred was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda where he served as the Choir Director, Superintendent of the Sunday school, and President of the Lutheran Brotherhood.

Fred is survived by his siblings Joan (Robert) Wohler and Harry Lang both of Shawano. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Peter L. Sherven officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Tilleda. Visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home from noon until the time of service.
