Gary L. Bohm, age 65, of Bonduel, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Gary was born in Shawano on August 13, 1956, to the late Cennie W. "Sam" and Lucille L. (Handstedt) Bohm. On September 16, 1978, Gary was united in marriage to the love of his life, Christine Lhotte, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zachow where Gary was a lifetime member. Gary grew up on his parents' dairy farm and eventually took it over himself.   He was a hard worker and was very proud to have his son become the third generation to run the family farm.  Gary loved driving the tractor and spent countless hours working the fields.  He was also a volunteer firefighter for 31 years for the Cecil-Town of Washington Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoyed many years of Wednesday and Thursday night pool leagues.  Gary was a great storyteller, had a great sense of humor, and could talk to anyone. Those that knew Gary will remember his countless jokes and the way he could lighten nearly any situation. First and foremost, Gary was a family man with a big heart, he loved his family and his pets dearly.  He treasured family gatherings.  Gary was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather that will be deeply missed.

Gary leaves behind: his wife of 43 years, Christine Bohm; children: Kari (Dan) De Smith, Kimberly (Mike) Dombrowski, Bryan (Katie) Bohm, and Katie (Ricky Deneys) Bohm; grandchildren, Trevor, Collin, Kaylee, Macy, Olivia, and Max; and siblings, Geraldine Pitt, Sandy Wegner, Curtis Bohm, and Vicki Zirbel. Gary is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Marjorie and Vickie, a brother, Jerry, and brothers-in-law: Dave Wegner and Vernon Pitt.

A funeral service for Gary will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Zachow with Pastor Philip Geiger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
