Gary L. Haws , age 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in Bonduel. Born in Shawano on February 2, 1953, to the late Robert and Shirley (Montie) Haws. After graduating from Bonduel High School, Gary went on to enter the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged June 30, 1971. He was a hard working man and worked all sorts of jobs throughout his life. He drove truck in Chicago and later did some logging. Gary owned and operated Haws Construction and went on to continue working as a contractor for the later part of his life. When he wasn’t working, you could always find him in the outdoors. He loved golfing, fishing, and hunting regardless if it was snow or shine. Gary had a huge heart and was always able to put a smile on peoples faces with his humor. He was a selfless man that was willing to help all walks of life. Gary conquered many challenges through life and continued to be a sincere and thoughtful father, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Gary is survived by: his son, Matthew (Kaitlin) Haws; his siblings, Jean Ward, Robert Haws Jr., Rick (Evie) Haws, and Patricia Folkman; sister-in-law, Karen Haws; his former wife, Sharon Haws; his best friend and dog, Gunner. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Robert and Shirley; his daughter, Ashley Haws; his brother Bruce Haws.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
