Gary Lee Murphy, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 9, 2021, after a brief illness. Gary was born July 11, 1947, to the late Ervin Luther Murphy and Charlotte (Fraley) Murphy. He graduated from Bowler High School in 1965. Gary had numerous jobs in his lifetime but mostly worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved his country music and his dog, Baby.

Gary left behind his loving companion, Karen Page, who took such wonderful care of him until the end of his life, as well as numerous loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and David Murphy.

A funeral service for Gary will be held at the Church of the Wilderness in Bowler at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 18, 2021 with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
