Gene Albert Jashinsky, age 69, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at his home. Gene was born in Oconto Falls on August 15, 1947 to the late James E. and Wanda Mae (Hanson) Jashinsky.  He enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1965, and served our country until his honorable discharge in 1968.  Gene moved to Las Vegas, where he worked in high-rise construction and as a bouncer.  Later, he worked under the stage name Gene Edwards as a stuntman for Grizzly Adams, Dukes of Hazzard and Little House on the Prairie.  He loved NASCAR, and used to race in the desert.  After his time in Hollywood, he drove semi.

Gene is survived by his brothers, a sister, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
