Genevieve Mary Bartline, age 79 of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Shawano. She was born on February 2, 1940 in Shawano to the late Otto and Venita (Grosskopf) Tinsman. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1958. Genevieve was united in marriage to Dennis Lee Bartline on September 30, 1961 in Shawano.

She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Dennis; her son, Paul (Stacy) Bartline and her #2 son, William "Billy Bud" Martin both of Shawano; grandsons, Eric and Austin Bartline; brothers, Merle Grosskopf of Shawano and Karlis (Gloria Kay) Kammerman of Hillsborough, NC; one sister, Shirley Montoure of Appleton; including many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Venita Grosskopf Kammerman; her father, Otto Grosskopf; stepfather, Earl Kammerman; daughter, Rebecca Bartline Martin; brothers, Norbert Grosskopf, Douglas Grosskopf, and Earl Kammerman, Jr.; one sister, Evelyn Kammerman Druckrey; and sisters-in-law, Rose Kammerman, Maria Grosskopf and Juanita Grosskopf.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, with Rev. Charles Daily Jr. officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of service on Sunday.

A memorial fund has been established for Safe Haven or Shawano County Humane Society.
