Gerald Fritz "Jerry" Kroening, age 67, of Shawano passed away on Sunday March 16, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Jerry was born on January 28, 1958, in Clintonville to the late Fritz and Dorella (Tank) Kroening. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Jerry lived in the Shawano and surrounding area for most of his life. He worked as a long-haul trucker and welder for many years. On October 2, 1999, Jerry was united in marriage to Jane Hull in Shawano. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed fishing, tinkering with things and spending time with his dogs and family. His greatest passion in life was music; it didn't matter what type he was always tapping his foot to it.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jane; stepchildren, Kimberly and Bradley; and step granddaughter, Kylaya.
