Gerald Louis Lautenschlager, age 87 of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Gerald was born on May 6, 1933 to the late Clarence and Bernice (Pendleton) Lautenschlager in Appleton. He was united in marriage to Barbara Keddel, she preceded him in death. Gerald was united in marriage to Dorothy DiSanto on April 4, 2005 and preceded him in death on January 29, 2019. He was very hard working always staying busy tinkering in his shop. Gerald enjoyed running equipment making sure it was running in tip-top shape. He loved horses and come summertime took pride in riding them in local parades. Gerald enjoyed spending time with his Amish friends. He loved his family, friends, and pets, especially his dog Tinker, dearly. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gerald is survived by his children, Jeff (Beth) Lautenschlager and Jody (Chuck) Schlitz; stepchildren, Lori (Ed) Wiseman, Mary (Terry) LaCanne, Barb (John Trickle) DiSanto, Lisa (Mike) Sortino, and Pam (Pete) Konrad; step daughter-in-law, Lynn Lee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Beverly Krueger. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barbara Keddel; second wife, Dorothy DiSanto; daughter, Wendy Weihing; stepson, Robert E. Lee; and brother-in-law, Harold "Pete" Krueger.
