Gerald Morris Owen, age 60, of Shawano, passed away on June 21, 2024. He was born on April 30, 1964, to  Barbara (Suhm) Owen and the late Morris Owen in Elk Grove, IL. Early in his childhood, Gerald and his family moved to Shawano where he lived the majority of his life.  From the moment Gerald could hold a hammer, his father was sure to put him to work. For his entire life, he worked as a carpenter and honed his craft.  Later in life, he loved to go riding on his Harley Motorcycle and deer hunting when he could. Gerald's life was centered around his family. He had a stubborn side but was always kind and generous. He was always willing to put others first before himself. Gerald was outgoing and boisterous. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Gerald is survived by: his mother Barbara; his children, Jordan (Brittany) Owen and Joey (Ashley) Owen; his grandchildren, Levi and Adria; his siblings, Leonard (Pam) Owen, Colleen Wagner and Denise Peterson; mother of his children, Kelly Owen. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his father Morris and his sister Sherry Pahlow and his brother Steven in infancy.
